Regional disparity
Ireland has an innate startup culture and while SMEs outside of our main cities are plentiful but often seek to serve their local population and are not globally focused.
Our experience from running businesses and accelerator programs tells us that many regionally based entrepreneurs do not meet the expected quality level (not from their lack of passion or hard work but) because they are deploying their efforts using inappropriate tools, mindset and metrics.
Foundational support
While startups come in all shapes and sizes, the fundamentals of scalable business are consistent. Validator moulds startups into a way of thinking and operating that minimises the opportunity for failure by establishing a foundation for growth. A solid foundation allows creative endeavours to flourish on top of the foundation.
Validator acts like a discovery journey for aspiring entrepreneurs: they take a glance at what being an entrepreneur means, experiencing also some of the obstacles they’ll have to face in the future and then enter a process to realise their ambition.

Validator is a structured process to increase the number of high potential startups, strengthen and connect regional startup ecosystems.
Outcomes
Problem Solution Fit: Validator focuses on helping people identify exactly what is the problem that they need to solve, and develop a solution that fits it. This is one of the most important stages for any first time entrepreneur and where Validator boot camp adds the most value.
Tools and Knowledge: Empowering people with valuable tools, educating them about what it takes to create a business and raises the community’s awareness regarding entrepreneurship.
Build/Strengthen Local Ecosystem: Develop a strong network, linked to experienced mentors and aspiring entrepreneurs with the participants, working on helping people create new startups that will be part of the ecosystem and boost the local economy. In countries without an entrepreneurial mindset their action is even more relevant. creating a local ecosystem where the startup community is truly connected and cooperates.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: Validator’s goal is not only to technically skill-up entrepreneurs, but also to enhance and leverage people’s entrepreneurial mindset.
Raise funding/Get into Accelerators: Many startups applying for acceleration programs or looking for funding support do not fulfil all the requirements, or the expected quality level. Validator boot camp prepare teams and startups for the next phase, the acceleration, where they can grow and expand quickly.
